Our Mission
Rodeo Ministries is using rodeo as a platform to proclaim the power of the Gospel to rodeo contestants and fans alike. Doing the work of an evangelist, we are “Searchin’ for Strays"... looking for those who are lost or those who have strayed away from the Word of God.
Our Vision
People receiving Jesus as SAVIOR, growing in the WORD, living by FAITH, and making Him LORD in life, (in and out of the rodeo arena).
Our Strategy...
Rodeo Ministries started out proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ only at rodeos and bull riding events... sharing God's Word with cowboys "one on one". However, we soon began to realize that the Lord had opened other doors of opportunity for us to share the Gospel.
Somehow, the uniqueness of our ministry has allowed us to reach many types of people, cultures, and denominations. We now also minister at churches, bible studies, youth groups, bible camps, schools, and various meetings and seminars.
Telling people about the incredible Good News of Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ... we preach the Word of God with authority and strive to impart understanding of that Word. We make known openly that all should repent, turn to God, and live lives consistent with and worthy of their repentance.
The methods may change, but the Lord continues to bless us and equip us to preach His Word in fresh and relevant ways.
For example... illustrating the Word of God through natural horsemanship and using horses to inspire personal growth & knowledge in Jesus Christ is effective with kids and adults, city slickers or cowboys... and it's FUN!
Rodeo Ministries co-operates, fellowships, and works together with all ministries and churches who proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord.
Rodeo Ministries' prayer and financial support comes from partners and friends who believe in reaching the cowboy world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
